A Legacy of Hospitality

The Hotel Biagiotti as it stands today is the result of a renovation project started in the 1980s on the site of the historic “Villa Elisa” guesthouse, originally owned by the Tomei family. Our roots are deeply tied to the local community: Giorgio Tomei was a founding member of the Lido di Camaiore Hotel Association in May 1965.

The hotel was named after Mrs. Elisa Tomei, who managed the property with passion for many years. Elisa took great pride in remembering the illustrious figures of art and culture who frequented her restaurant, making the hotel a historic landmark:

  • The Composer Giacomo Puccini
  • The Painter Lorenzo Viani
  • The Writer Mario Tobino
  • The Liberty Artist Galileo Chini
  • The Architect Alfredo Belluomini
  • The Poet Gabriele D’Annunzio
  • The Actress Eleonora Duse
